you forgot to ask the obvious go in and take it,they are not interrested in diplomatic steps , and its time to show the world that we have had it with the rag heads telling us what to do.

We take it back or blow it up. Dare them to stop us

Drone should explode on impact of crash.

what kind of idiot designs a top secret drone w/ out having a self destruct button

Submitted by bushmaster : Dec 15, 2011 3:43pm

Any top secret weapon should be rigged with a remotely controlled self destruct device.

Take it back or better yet destroy it with air power. When will government begin to actually listen to the majority? Screw political correctness!!

Some are questioning why the Drone wasn't destroyed. My understanding is that the Operators could not get the "Powers That Be In Charge" to make a decision. They were afraid there might be an International Incident filed against the United States Commander in Chief. It figures, our Commander in Chief wouldn't give the order to kill Bin Laden either. I understand that order was given by Panetta not Obama.

Why it would not have a destruct mechanism is beyond me as well. With the pathetic commander and chief we now have it is no wonder we are doing nothing. He ares more about his image than protecting out country.
Send a drone in to destroy no matter where it is.

hope that it is boobtraped and it goes off when they try to take it apart

The problem is not the drone or its' design. The problem is we badly need a President that is not a coward. We need a President that can make the tough decision and be a leader, not a liar.
We will always have, as we have had in the past, problems somewhere in the world, that is why we need a "Real" President. Capable of making a Command Decision.

I feel it will be necessary to destroy it as it is probable that with the help of other detractor nations to the United States that it will be reverse engineered and like our nuclear arsenal will become another threat to our nation developed by our own hands.
If it were left to me to decide what to do, taking into consideration our nations already poor rating among the worlds developed communities, I would not hesitate to use everything available to my administration to find it and destroy it like we have with leaders of terrorist organizations of late. I feel it is time to stop trying to be popular and just do what needs to be done after contacting the needed nations that are our allies to keep them in the loop.
I will understand if this comment will not set well with many who have never seen combat and are comfortable with talking rather that doing. I, like so many Americans, gave my pound of flesh in the Vietnam campaign to maintain the status quo "keep our country free". It will make waves but I feel we have no choice... we now have "an angry wolf by the ears". It is not something we want but we "dare not let it go".

We should have already went and got it back, what kind of President do we have? A coward I think. Geez what a sorry loser he is.

Well I think now that we are out of Iraq,I see no reason why we can't invade Iran. The billons of dollars and lives wasted in Iraq can now be wasted in Iran. There should be a few billion left from us downsizing in Afganistan. And for sure we have many healthy young men and woman who will lay down there lives for freedom and fighting global terror.Washington won't mind,I mean none of them are getting shot at. And very few have sons and daughters in uniform. Why would they. Their already sucking on the government teat and there is not one decision that they make that relates to them, they don't live by the same standards that they expect us to live in.We need to wake up people,we are being scamed and cleaned out by the power elite, and the war machine.I'm 67 and I can't remember any time that we have not been in a war with some country. The innocent pay the price.

Good thing we landed that Trojan Horse there so they would move it closer to the systems we want to monitor.

I can't believe that the U.S.A. would have not have put a self destruct capability in such a high tech piece of equipment. Sometihing's going on that we don't know......believe me!!!! We would never let something this secret just fall into Iran's hands. I also tend to think of the Trojan Horse theroy!!

Submitted by BPIETRO : Dec 16, 2011 9:51am

I agree with the self destruct. If it did not blow then send in a bomber.

Once we found out where it landed it should have been destroyed asap. By now they probably have it partially, if not completely disassembled. I would like to think that they planned it to get into Iran but I don't give anyone in this administration that much credit. They are too engrossed in tearing apart our country!!!
