Spring Meetings begin next week

American Legion National Commander Daniel M. Dellinger, along with the Legion's National Executive Committee and commission and committee members, will gather in Indianapolis May 5-8 for the 2014 Spring Meetings.

The commissions and committees will meet earlier in the week and then will deliver their reports to the NEC May 7-8 for review. A few announcements from the commissions and committees will include the naming of the 2014 Eagle Scout of the Year recipient and the Legacy Scholarship recipients. The NEC will also vote on resolutions and discuss Legion priorities and initiatives from Dellinger. A few highlighted topics to be discussed include VA accountability, veterans homelessness, credentialing and veteran employment.
