Your answer choices are rediculous. To include the video as one of the reasons if "all of the above" is chosen is misleading.The middle two answers are accurate, but by including the first answer in all of the above takes away from the validity of my answer.

There was an invitation issued. The invitation came in the form of the hiring of an offshoot of the Feb 17 Martyrs Group (with affiliations to al-Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood) to protect the consulate. Note that being an OFFSHOOT, not ALL of the guards were involved. Those that weren't were also beaten and killed. If you hire foxes to guard the hen house, expect to lose a few chickens.

This completely falls in the presidents lap. He is ultimately responsible for our embassy and the personnel. The State Dept. was watching the murders in realtime and still had the gall to blame it on a 3rd rate video. It's insulting to all Americans!
