Will Congress be able to pass an effective immigration-reform bill?

No. Immigration reform is just another term for amnesty, and the Senate proposal is too complicated to pass both houses.

Time will tell if this reform package will be effective, but at least it’s a step toward a solution.

Yes. The proposal is fair and will create pathways for workers and families who have lived too long in the shadows.

Our law maker are dead set on an amnesty program because big business wants cheap labor. The more porous the boarder the more people business has to pick from, and the cheaper the labor. But we deserve it because we keep voting Democrat and Republican, and they never fix things. Both side have sold out to big business. It sure looks like this to me.
