This will be my 5th legacy run. The first one I attended was 2008 and was only the 3rd event. I just listened to the instructions and got along fine. As each legacy run takes place, more and more are repeat attendees and know what to do. Just follow them and everything will go fine.

All Legion posts should follow the practice of removing flags from veterans’ graves as soon as possible after Memorial Day.

I am responsible for a Flag Retirement Ceremony for the Freedom Festival. Would it be possible for The National American Legion to assist me with free hand outs on Flag Etiquette? There are usually 2-3000 people that attend. I have requests for these brochures several times a year and I have run out.
