Since 1919, Veterans Day has stood as an opportunity for the United States, as both a nation and its citizens, to pause and honor American veterans of all wars.

This year, many events and special promotions have been planned to do just that. The American Legion has a Veterans Day page [2] on its national website dedicated to these events and promotions for easy access and bookmarking by Legionnaires and others. The Veterans Day page includes:
