The nation's capital will host a number of ceremonies to mark Veterans Day, with an American Legion presence at several.
Midwest Region National Vice Commander David Voyles and his wife, Tulla, will attend a breakfast reception at the White House, then head to Arlington National Cemetery – along with staff members from the Legion's Washington office – to participate in a wreath-laying ceremony [2] at the Tomb of the Unknowns at around 11 a.m. Washington time.
From there, the Legion delegation will go to the Wall for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Ceremony [3], starting at 1 p.m.
