Inspired by a Reconnect visit to the Fort Benning Maneuver Center for Excellence in Georgia, American Legion National Adjutant Daniel S. Wheeler delivered a Memorial Day-themed address to the Sertoma Club of Indianapolis.
In his speech, Wheeler recognizes the countless young men and women who serve their country, and pays homage to generations of Silver Star Medal recipients: "These the faces of war," he says.
