A revamped Citizens Flag Alliance website (http://cfa-inc.org/ [2]) is now available online. The new CFA site features breaking news regarding the U.S. flag, a Frequently Asked Questions section about the CFA and flag amendment, a chronology of events since the U.S. Supreme Court struck down flag-protection laws in 1989, and a history of congressional testimony presented in favor of a flag amendment.
The new CFA site also provides the opportunity to either donate to the CFA or reach out to members of Congress to urge their support of a flag amendment. Site visitors are provided step-by-step instructions for writing letters to Congress, or writing editorials or letters to the editor in their local newspapers.
The American Legion is a member of the Citizens Flag Alliance, a broad-based, nonpartisan, nonprofit, national organization formed to persuade Congress to pass a constitutional amendment that would return to the American people the right to protect their flag.
