Legion Rider chapter locator now available

A new tool on The American Legion web site allows users to locate American Legion Riders chapters across the country. Those interested in finding a nearby Legion Rider chapter can go to http://www.legion.org/riders/locator and enter their city, state or ZIP code to locate a chapter.

Those wanting to have their chapter listed can email wsloan@legion.org, or call (317) 630-1265.

This is a great idea. I actually used this to look for a ALR chapter near me. After I found out there wasn't one close, I approached Post 22 near my home and they were actually in the process of forming one and needed one more member to make it happen. Now we are one of the newest Legion Riders posts.
