ALR, Legislative e-newsletters to debut

In the coming weeks, The American Legion will debut two new e-newsletters: The American Legion Riders Update and the Legislative Update.

The Legion Riders e-newsletter will begin being emailed out later this month and will provide information on the upcoming American Legion Legacy Run, including how to register, the route and anything else participants will need to know. It also will contain links to external media stories on what Legion Rider chapters are doing across the country.

The Legislative Update will include information on key issues involving Legion interests: veterans health care and benefits, national security, education and career benefits, and flag protection. It also will provide advance notice on Legion involvement in congressional hearings. With a few exceptions, it will be emailed out weekly.
