Dates set for 2010 Legacy Run

The dates have been finalized for the 2010 Legacy Run - the widely successful fundraising event that brings in motorcyclists from all over the country. Legion Riders will depart from Indianapolis on Aug. 22 and arrive Aug. 26 in Milwaukee, the site of the Legion’s 92nd National Convention.

The route will be determined at a later date.

Funds raised at the Legacy Run directly benefit The American Legion Legacy Scholarship fund, which provides college money for the children of servicemembers killed on active duty on or after Sept. 11, 2001. The previous three Legacy runs have netted more than $1 million for the fund.
