2022 Legacy Run – Day 2

Riders on the 2022 American Legion Legacy Run exhibited “Veterans Strengthening America” as they crossed Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky.  On a day focused on giving back to communities, riders visited with residents at the Tennessee State Veterans Home and raised the spirits of a community devastated by tornadoes in Mayfield, Ky.

The American Legion Riders stopped in Mayfield, Ky., a town devastated by a tornado in December 2021. During their visit, American Legion National Commander Paul Dillard, American Legion Auxiliary President Kathy Daudistel and Sons of The American Legion National Commander Michael Fox joined Mayfield Post 26 Commander Wendell Gugu to lay a wreath at the local Veterans Memorial.
