Heavy rains slowed the riders during the first day of the 2018 Legacy Run. The run will take the riders five days and across four states to the centennial National Convention in Minneapolis.
American Legion Riders from around the country gathered in Hutchinson, Kan. in anticipation of the 2018 American Legion Legacy Run. Lysle Rishel American Legion Post 68 hosted registration, safety briefings and opening ceremonies to prepare the participants for the week ahead.
