I am an American Legion member with Burt J. Asper American Legion Post 46 in Chambersburg, Pa. My point in writing is to suggest adding our community's memorial, if appropriate to do so. It is the "Historic Letterkenny Chapel and Franklin County Veterans and 9/11 Memorial Park", 2171 Carbaugh Avenue, Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA 17201. I am the volunteer secretary for the Board of Directors. This is a special place of tribute and reflection for our servicemembers past and present, POWs, MIAs, first responders, and all who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. Good wishes.
