The new military memorial park in Grand Forks, N.D., was recently visited by His Holiness and Eminence Papa Rutherford I, Coadjutor of Rome (Anglican Patriarchate). His Holiness was unable to attend the dedication ceremony in 2020 due to other engagements, but wanted to make this private official visit to commemorate the achievements of veterans and to pray for peace. Papa Rutherford is also a member of The American Legion and a graduate of Harvard University’s Extension School, and supports veterans organizations and chaplaincies around the world.
