S.M.N.&R. Post 163 (Marysville, Kan.) Memorial Day service

We had a wonderful turnout this year without any rain on Memorial Day. In the Marysville City Cemetery is a four-pillar monument that people see but don't ask much about. This memorial was dedicated after WWI to signify the U.S. and its allies during the Great War. Standing in front is our honor guard and a few proud Marines who can still get into their dress blues. This group of men have paid tribute to veterans of all services, regardless if they are a member of our Legion post. Honor guard commander Jim Lindeen is standing out front.
