At our April meeting Post member Irwin Baron was awarded the American Legion Heroism Award for saving the life of his next door neighbor by administering CPR until Fire Rescue arrived. Mr. Irwin has been a Boy Scout for over 70 years and is still active. Making the presentation during our April meeting were Commander James Tewes, Historian Carol Fraser and member Teddy Pomerantz.
