On Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, the Town of Leland, N.C., sponsored an “Honor Our Local Veterans” Breakfast. It was held at the Cultural Arts Center, Leland.

John E. Jacobs American Legion Post 68 Commander John Hacker, along with other post members, were well represented at the event. The event was attended by local dignitaries, including Leland Mayor Brenda Bozeman; Lt. Col. Jeffries, Civil Air Patrol; and Civil Air Patrol Caper Fear Region personnel, who all came to honor our local veterans.

This is the 13th year of this event, showing the dedication the Leland community has toward its veterans.
