This story is about a group of Lions who were veterans and wanted to do something for vets in our town. As then-president of the Sequim Valley Lions and a veteran myself (67-71 USAF), I wanted our club to do something for the vets in our area. Well we decided to do a spaghetti dinner twice a year for vets in either the VFW or American Legion. All veterans were welcomed, and we grew from only 25 vets to over 100 at the dinners. We will continue this activity as a tribute and thanks to all veterans.
