Northeast Post 630 honors Eagle Scouts

Two members of Boy Scouts Pack 299 were honored by members of Northeast Post 630 at their meeting on March 7. Brothers Santiago and Sebastian Rodriguez were given Certificates of Recognition for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. In order to finally earn the rank of Eagle Scout the Scout must initiate and complete a major project. Santiago built a greenhouse for the Woodford Academy, a Cincinnati public school. Sebastian developed a 4-hour academic STEAM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) and then taught it to the students at an Over the Rhine School. Both boys completed other requirements in order to achieve the Eagle rank, but the final project was the most critical. Santiago and Sebastian are students at Seven Hills School.
