Edward Lilley joined The American Legion in February of 2013. Ed serves as a National Field Service Representative in the Health Policy Unit for the Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation Division. His area of responsibility includes Veterans Health Administration offices under Operations, which includes but is not limited to: Patient Centered Care, Clinical Operations, Administrative Operations, Primary Care Operations, Mental Health Operations, Dental, and Surgical Services.

Ed's military awards include: The Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, The Navy Good Conduct Medal, The National Defense Service Medal, The Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and The Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

After his honorable discharge in July of 2008, Edward earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, with a Minor in English from St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, New York. While earning his degree, Ed began assisting veterans as the President of the St. Joseph's College Armed Forces Association.

Ed currently resides in Columbia, Maryland with his fiancé, Rachel, and is a member of The American Legion George Washington Post 1 in Washington DC.
