When you leave the military, the biggest question is "what's next?" It's a scary job market right now, but the skills you've received in the military make you highly marketable. The Legion sponsors dozens of veterans hiring fairs each year, and our employment experts also provide tips to writing resumes, networking and making a strong impression in the interview process.
RecruitMilitary will host a veterans career fair and opportunity expo Thursday at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. The event, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., gives veterans, transitioning military personnel, members of the Guard and reserve, and military family members a chance to meet potential employers, network and learn about other employment opportunities.
Attendees are asked to bring at least 12 copies of their résumé. Employers will have booths set up, and there will be plenty of networking opportunities. Among the exhibitors are Argosy University, DeVry University, L'Oreal USA Inc., TMP Worldwide-Northrop Grumman, Direct Employers Association and many more. A comprehensive list of exhibitors and employment listings will be available at the front gate, found inside "Search and Employ" - RecruitMilitary's employment magazine.
