Denver System Worth Saving town hall

The American Legion held a town hall for veterans and their families to share their experiences they've had at the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System, both good and bad, with VA leadership, congressional representatives, Department of Colorado leadership and American Legion National staff as a part of a System Worth Saving site visit at Leyden-Chiles-Wickersham Post 1 in Denver on Monday, March 5, 2018. "Five or six years ago I was basically blind," said Dan Szelkowski, a Post 1 dual American Legion and Sons of The American Legion member. "I have vision because of the VA," he said, referencing an operation to take care of his cataracts.
