National American Legion Baseball staff is sending reminders to department baseball chairmen and department headquarters that the national deadline for teams to register for the 2012 American Legion Baseball season is May 15. Teams failing to do so by that date are subject a $200 fine payable to the department. In accordance with the 2012 ALB Rulebook, any team failing to register by June 1, 2012, shall not be permitted to play American Legion Baseball.

The National Executive Committee is hearing reports from the Legislative and Foreign Relations divisions, as well as a report from the 100th Anniversary Committee.
