.Submitting written testimony on proposed changes to VA's disability rating schedule

The American Legion is submitting written testimony to a House Veterans Affairs Committee subcommittee considering proposed changes in the VA’s disability rating schedule. The changes, if enacted, are designed to streamline the overburdened disability benefits award system. The Legion, in its testimony, is calling for close scrutiny of the proposals to make sure they would not impact veterans negatively or deny benefits that are due for the sake of expediency.

The Matrix used by the VA to determine your disability rating is a very unfair system. After you get to 80% you would probably need to lose both arms and legs to ever get to 100% without going the unemployability route. I believe that the VA generally speaking is better now than ever before, but Matrix rating system nees to be revised.
