Shaun Rieley of the Legion’s Legislative Division is attending a House Education and the Workforce Committee (HEW) subcommittee hearing titled “Keeping College within Reach: Discussing Ways Institutions Can Streamline Costs and Reduce Tuition.” The Legion is concerned with the how the high cost of higher education impacts veterans receiving GI Bill benefits.

It’s Day 2 of the Legion’s Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation Division is conducting a women veterans focus group. The focus group is the second part of The American Legion’s Women Veterans Survey that was launched Jan. 5. The Legion is conducting the focus group in effort to further improve its delivery of women veterans’ benefits, programs and services.
