Working with VA's Baltimore office to improve adjudicating fully developed claims

Staff from The American Legion’s Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation Division are spending this week at the Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Office in Baltimore. In late January, it was reported that VA's Baltimore office is the slowest in the country in processing disability claims for servicemembers, averaging about a year while making more mistakes than any other office.
Legion staff will help the office improve its process for adjudicating fully developed disability claims and will also train Legion service officers there.
