Ed Lilley of the Legion’s Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation Division is attending a suicide-prevention summit in Washington: Using Community-Based Approaches to Prevent Suicide. The summit’s objectives include increasing understanding of how best practices fit within communities, within a comprehensive model of suicide prevention, the DoD Suicide Prevention Strategy and within the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.
