Peter Gaytan – executive director of the Legion’s D.C. office – is meeting with Rep. Jeff Miller, chairman of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. Gaytan and Miller will discuss patients deaths in Department of Veterans Affairs’ facilities in Georgia and South Carolina, communication issues within VA, and cost overruns and delays with VA construction projects.
