Hosting Department Service Officer School in Washington.

About 150 American Legion department service officers, county service officers and other accredited Legion representatives from across the country are attending The American Legion's Department Service Officer (DSO) School in Washington to receive training that will help them file benefits claims with the Department of Veterans Affairs and provide other services to America’s veterans.

Washington is a state. Washington, D.C. is the nation's capitol. Who is teaching this DSO training? And how was it determined which county VSOs and other Legion representatives would be invited to attend?
