Mundy-Beck American Legion Post 9-1-1 has be an active post within Southwest Atlanta for 25 years, giving back to ensure others can strive to better and remember that the saying that it takes a community to raise children hasn't fallen on death ears.

On 20 December 2014 Mundy-Beck Post 9-1-1 hosted their 7th Annual Toys 4 Tots drive chaired each year by Master Sergeant Patricia Baisden a Paid Up For Life Member and a Bronze Star Afghanistan Disabled Veteran in the loving memory of her mother Lessie Reeves RIP who loved the holiday season because it was all about family and friends coming together under one roof to laugh, eat, watch football, and have fun unwrapping gifts and talking about the things leading up to Christmas and what they are planning for the next year.

We (Mundy-Beck Post 9-1-1) are very pleased to know that 401 children were given toys, bikes, and books to enjoy doing the Christmas holidays. This effort was made possible with one of our community partners Mission Continues and some dedicated new members of our post.
