The American Legion 100 Miles for Hope
For a $30 registration fee, participants will receive a men’s, women’s or child’s tech shirt. All proceeds will go to the Veterans & Children Foundation (V&CF). There is also an option to register and decline a shirt. Upon conclusion of their 100 miles, participants will be able to download a certificate of achievement that they can print, display and share on social media.
TRACK YOUR MILES
This year, 100 Miles for Hope has two options for tracking miles regardless of your activity. Walking, cycling, rowing, running, rucking, canoeing, riding a motorcycle — and many other activities all count.
SUPPORT THE AMERICAN LEGION
VETERANS & CHILDREN FOUNDATION
The first two annual events contributed more than a half million dollars to the Veterans & Children Foundation. American Legion National Commander Paul E. Dillard is challenging participants to raise $450,000 during the third annual 100 Miles for Hope event. In addition to registration fees, participants can support disabled veterans and military families by encouraging family members and friends to support their journeys with a kind donation.
The V&CF funds the training and education of 3,000 accredited American Legion service officers and provides grants for military families who are facing financial distress.
