A Major League Baseball Hall of Famer, Yankees legend and World War II veteran, Berra was one of the most prominent figures in baseball history. Berra played Legion Baseball with Fred W. Stockholm Post 245 in St. Louis and went on to one of the most historic careers in the history of the sport. As a player and manager, Berra appeared in 21 World Series, earning 13 rings in the process. A three-time AL Most Valuable Player and 18-time All-Star, Berra was one of the best catchers in the history of the game and was rewarded with enshrinement in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.
