Although the 2020 annual national Combined Americanism Conference in Indianapolis was canceled to ensure safety amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Americanism Commission offered a virtual conference on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020. The featured speaker for the joint session was Chris Phillips, vice president of NFP Property & Casualty Services Inc. He spoke on "The Importance of Insurance Protection."

Department program directors, chairmen, staff, and volunteers across the nation were invited to participate in the 2020 Combined Americanism Conference.

Children and Youth

The Children and Youth provides an overview of the Children and Youth program at the American Legion. You will learn about child safety, child health, Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) grant program, The American Legion Child Welfare Foundation, CWF’s CAT Program and The American Legion Veterans and Children Foundation.
