MicroTech invites military to NBA game

On March 12, MicroTech will host its Annual Military Appreciation Night at the Verizon Center in Washington, inviting wounded warriors and military personnel to the venue for an NBA game between the Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Clippers. Around 500 local veterans and troops will attend the game courtesy of MicroTech, a highly successful information technologies company owned by Tony Jimenez, who is a member of The American Legion’s Business Task Force and a service-disabled veteran.

The game, which tips off at 7 p.m., will serve as a tribute to the U.S. armed forces. Military can receive a discount on ticket prices at the gate or by purchasing tickets online and entering the promo code “microtech”.

MicroTech is regarded as one of the nation’s most successful service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, having grown 4,000 percent since its founding in 2004. The company is also a fervent supporter of veterans and our nation’s military, working with The American Legion on various outreach efforts and providing direct and indirect support to those who have served.
