The National Commander visited Department from Connecticut from Oct. 6 to Oct. 8th. While it was a short visit, he was able to attend a meet and greet at Montville Post 112, and tour the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, as well as host an Awareness walk in downtown Hartford.
From Oct. 1 to Oct. 5, National Commander Barnett visited the Department of Missouri. While in Missouri, he visited several posts and toured facilites such as the St. Michaels Veterans Center for the Homeless and Cameron Veterans Home.
Commander attended several meet and greets with the Department of Kansas posts on September 28. He also visited with troops at the Warrior Transition Battalion on September 30 and visited Topeka Post 400, Lawrence Post 14 and Olathe Post 153.
Commander Barnett traveled to the Department of Montana on September 18 and visited with Manhattan Post 87 and spoke at Townsend Post 42. He toured Battalion Headquarters Armory, spoke at a press conference and visited several other posts in the area. The commander was also in a parade with Belgrade Post 30 before traveling home to visit his family.
