Commander Barnett visited the Department of Vermont on September 13. to attend a breakfast and meet and greet with Brattleboro Post 5 before visiting several other posts. The next day, he toured Norwich University with Campus Post 1819 and visited with students.
On September 9, National Commander Dale Barnett visited the Department of New Hampshire. During his visit he attended a meet and greet and had dinner at Lebanon Post 22, and visited the adjutant general at the Air National Guard. Commander Barnett was also the keynote speaker at the Hampton Post 35 Global War on Terrorism Memorial Remembrance Ceremony on September 11, as well as leading the Awareness Walk at Sweeney Post 2 on September 12.
