Legion observes Memorial Day

Legionnaires around the world particpated in many Memorial Day events.

Many Legionnaires attended the annual Indianapolis 500 Festival Parade on May 27 where The American Legion sponsored a float. A video featuring the Legion float can be viewed here.

Over 800 American Legion Riders gathered in Virginia en masse to participate in Rolling Thunder’s 25th anniversary Run to the Wall. The Legion is an official sponsor of this year’s event. Check out coverage of the event on the Legion Riders hub page.
