I suppose if you define stabilize as surrendering to the idea that any negotiated settlement will result in the installation of Islamo-Fascism and the recreation of terrorist training camps in Afghanistan then I must agree. However, this "stabilization" will be seen as an Islamist victory and, in the eyes of the world, an admission by this nation that we place absolutely no value on the sacrifice of our military. It also reinforces the global opinion that the US, while obviously capable of breaking everything in sight as soon as its military arrives, is incapable of successfully completing a war since WWII.

The Taliban, nor Al-Qaeda, gives a Tinker's Dam for these, so-called Peace Talks.
Muslims have been attacking Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, and anyone available, since the Crusades in 1096.
Islam is a violent, cruel religion of murder and the rape of children.
