Listen to the cdc and nih. We will defeat this virus like we did polio in the 50s. Wear masks, keep 6 feet distance, wash hands. Consider others around you when you are out. You are protecting others and they should protect you.

I totally agree!

Totally agree. The Mayor of the town in the movie "Jaws" wanted to open the beaches with no regard for other people, just the town leaders. Until the Shark, (our COVID-19) bit him in the butt. Sound familiar?

I do not wear a mask, they reduce the oxygen in your lungs approx. 20%, they cause you to breathe your exhaled carbon dioxide, they reduce your natural immunity by wearing the masks...NO..not a sheeple!

I can by the "sheeple" aspect, though I do not agree that wearing a mask makes you one. The 20%, though, has me stymied. Is the same thing true of surgeons and other surgical personnel?

I have heard this all over the net.. Hogwash I say. Try wearing an M17A1 mask in 110° weather in full MOP!

Only a true selfish person would refuse to wear a cloth mask to help slow dow this virus for fellow community members and family. If you can get a N95 mask all the better! Help you and your community stay Covid19 free..

Those that have never served in the military, or as an EMT
Would not appreciate how they can protect themselves or others. We should realize this is not a tv show, this is a real danger.

when you don't wear a mask you endanger my health and my life.so i guess it would be alright for me to drive drunk and endanger yours.lets just do away with all laws. it's a free country

I follow my Dr. advice.

Masks are an act of charity toward one's fellow citizens as well as a way of being pro-active towards one's own well being.

Not a sheeple? What I see are mostly Trump followers, like sheep, following his unworthy example of not wearing a mask.

I was wearing a mask from driveway to when I returned home. I leave home not wearing my mask but as soon as I get to my destination I mask up. If I am at my storage unit and the only person there, I'll not put it on. I keep a toolbox with soap, water, paper towels, one time use masks, gloves and hand sanitizer. I use my reusable mask for things like going to the vet, but a one time use at the doctor appointment. I stay home as much as I can. We only get take out now and then and if the restaurant employees are not wearing masks or handling our food without gloves, they do not get my return business. I am tired of the ignorance and violence. I trained in old chem suits and if I can handle them, a mask is nothing.

I fail to see how a mask can stop the spread of the virus. I feel it is stomping on my rights as an American to force a mask on me.

I'll make my own choices and do what my individual decision dictates instead of being mandated by the suggestions and guidelines of unelected 3rd Party bureaucrats. Individual liberty and freedom over the socialist collective.

I do wear a mask when I go to public places, however I do not agree with all the hype. I believe somewhat this is for control more than the virus. The real root cause of the spreading has never been addressed and probably never will be. Also knowing the workings of the government, I think there has been some form of vaccine for quite awhile.

Many members of Post 6 in Cheyenne WY absolutely refuse to wear masks. The city of Cheyenne passed a mask mandate that goes into effect 11/01/2020. This county has a real surge of COVID. Not sure why the resistance by members, but my personal participation in any Legion activity has ended. Real leaders lead by example.
