Since when does the preparedness of our military take second place to ANYTHING! This whole "wokeness" BS needs to stop!! Our country's security is a hell of lot more important than running around like a chicken with its' head cut off because a death rate around .017% (less than any other know serious cause of death in the WORLD)! Just as many people died due to the Chinese swine flu epidemic and this country didn't go nuts or reduce its' military preparedness. Wake up America! The world always had and will continue to have pandemics! The cure to the Black Death in the 12th Century was called "a build up of immunity"; that's right, there were no vaccines available. Yet, the world survive the worst pandemic on record in history. The Chinese and Russians are seriously rattling their sabres; do your think they give a rats ass about this "pandemic" they started? HELL NO!
Because of this so called "pandemic" do the fire departments stop responding to fires? Let the large-scale combat training begin immediately!!! Or else we all will be speaking Chinese or Russian!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is not new to say that the armed forces need training. These times require more planing and coordination. You might want to consider, smaller training exercises ,with less movement of troops.Incorporate virtual training. The S-3/G3 shops should be working on that. There is way to train use always.

COVID-19 doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. If we were in a combat situation we would have to fight or be concurred. So training needs to continue no matter the conditions. The enemy of the USA will use our weakness against us.

Virtual training should be increased to lessen the risk of large classrooms as we had in the Marines when I served. Applications such as Zoom will enhance the troops' computer skills as well as training the technical details of the subjects as needed. I use Zoom weekly in my job and it works fine. Next, go out and practice the lessons in the field using virus-protective gear and methods.

What do you tell the enemy, "Let's wait awhile I've got some Corona chasing me at this time". Yeah, right!
