"33 Minutes" to be screened at National Convention

“33 Minutes” focuses on the need for a credible missile defense system to ensure our national security against such threats as North Korea and Iran. The Heritage Foundation is offering the program, free of charge, to any American Legion department, district or post that will show it in a public venue.The Legion’s Resolution No. 94, passed at the 2008 National Convention in Phoenix, says the need for America to defend against ballistic missiles is “an essential ingredient of our Homeland Security for the continental United States ....” It urges the federal government to “develop and continue to deploy” a national missile-defense system.”A video trailer of “33 Minutes” is available for viewing online.
