Veterans Small Business Summit

The Veterans Small Business Summit will be held in Reno, Nevada, on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, commencing at 8:30 a.m. and concluding at 5:30 p.m.

The summit will be part of The American Legion's 99th National Convention, and held in collaboration with the Veterans Business Outreach Center and U.S. Small Business Administration. 

The convention will be held at the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa, Convention Center, 3800 South Virginia St., Reno, Nevada

The event will include appearances by political dignitaries, government officials and industry leaders. The summit will be useful for seasoned small business owners as well as those seeking to start a small business. Session topics include learning how to turn contacts into contracts, traditional and untraditional small business financing, how to get certified to business with the government and prime agencies,  understanding the Federal Acquisition Regulations and compliance requirements, cybersecurity, and more.
