Legion posts celebrate ANZAC Day

Post CN20 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, of the American Legion, participated in a recent parade to mark ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) Day at the Central Memorial Park in Calgary.
According to post adjutant Jim Grosset, “We were part of a massed color party made up of various Canadian Legion, Canadian Peace Keepers, EMTs and Royal Canadian Army cadets. The weather was just above freezing, but the spirits were high due to the comradery. Around 100 spectators made up of Australians, New Zealanders, and Canadian dignitaries and military officials from Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Post CN20 has been part of this event for well over 12 years now.”
Post AU03 of Brisbane, Australia, also participated in its local ANZAC Day parade.
