Good Citizenship Citation to Eagle Scout in Netherlands ceremony

On Nov. 3 at the International Conference Center in Brunssum, Netherlands, there was an Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony. BSA Troop 100 Life Scout William David Leonard was promoted to the rank of Eagle. Margraten Post NL01 Commander Raymond Perez Jr. had the great honor and privilege to present William with the American Legion Good Citizenship Citation.

The rank of Eagle Scout is a great milestone and outstanding achievement. William is now a part of a small and distinguished fraternity that includes such names as Armstrong, Ford and Lovell. Eagle is also a reflection of many years of family support and mentorship. It was wonderful to see thanks given to his mother Jodi and father Terry. He also thanked his scouting mentors, especially Scoutmaster Billy Raine.

Post NL01 looks forward to attending many more Eagle ceremonies from Troop 100.
