Bill, AG6EM, reported that the California American Legion Amateur Radio Service [CALARS] will participate in this year's ARRL National Amateur Radio Field Day from the site of their department's American Legion convention on June 24 and 25. Johnny, K7ZZQ, checked in to the net while mobile [on his motorcycle] from Brigham City, UT, where he was providing amateur radio support to the 2017 Utah Tour de Cure. The TDC is a 100-mile bicycle ride to benefit the American Diabetes Association.
