Discussion on the net was of a general nature. John, W6KEE, mentioned that the VA hospital in his area has an active radio station [NCS didn't get the call sign] that operates daily on the 20m band at 14.255MHz, from 9am to 11am Pacific Time. Chris, W4CEC, noted that he intends to meet with his post's leadership to discuss the possibility of a post club or station, with a focus on involvement with the Boy Scouts of America. Dan, K6DLC, noted that TALARC members in the Department of California operated their 2017 Field Day event from the site of the department's annual convention. Dan stated that he had sent photos to TALARC HQ.
