REMARKS: Very successful D-Star nets last night. Eleven check-ins at 9 EDT and three at 9 PDT. The best part was that seven hams were all from American Legion Post 46 in Danville, Ky., and two also checked in to the 9 p.m. PDT net. These guys were excited they were able to make this happen last night. They were all at their home stations, not the post.

Bob Hawkins, KD5AT, has been a tremendous help planning the USS Slater special event this Saturday. His USS Slater video is top notch. He suggested we also use the Crossroads EchoLink Conference Node to make contacts after your net. We will be there.
