Announcements were made regarding the following subjects:

Discussion on the net was of a general nature, as usual. Mark Halabuda, W2UIS, made contact with the EL net while on site during the USS Slater Special Event, from the Destroyer Escort Historical Museum situated aboard USS Slater, docked at the port of Albany, N.Y. Larry, KD6SW,L noted a problem in receiving email from TALARC. He is unable to correct the problem by logging on to the TALARC website; this matter needs special attention from the TALARC board. Herb, KM4YZP, was on the net for the first time with a question of established clubs/stations within the Department of Florida. A listing of known post clubs/stations, which is resident on the TALARC website, was emailed to Herb. For the record, there are no post clubs/stations listed for the Department of Florida.
